Can't access System API List in Android Export in beta 9

Postby Dao&Co » 2018-08-20 10:23

Hello,

I can't acces to the System API list in Android Export in Shiva2.0 beta 9.

So the Export fail telling me that "The minimum supported system API level is 9 ( Android 2.3)"

What i am missing, I tried the legacy export and the android studio too, problem is the same.

Anyone have an idea ?

Thank you in advance !

I tried on another Windows computer same issues, API list empty,

I tried on a Mac, I got the list but the Authoring job fail, and I don't understand why Oo, no explanation in the log.

I can't export for Android, It's kind of a big problem.

Any Idea ?

Had the same problem in Shiva 2.0 beta 9 on Linux until I wrote the correct path to Java in settings.
You also need to specify the path to Gradle.
Moreover, for me Authoring job fail with recent versions of AS. Export is successful only with Android Studio 2.3.3.

My Paths in Settings:

indeed, you have to set the paths for SDK, NDK, Gradle, (cygwin), (ANT), and Java for the exports to be successful and the API dropdown list to show up.

I just exported a ShiVa20beta9 Android game with the Dev Profile, all paths set, and it worked without issues. AS is in version 3.1.4, just freshly updated. Installing older versions of AS should not be necessary.

The problem was the java path, I've set it to the one i've install directly from oracle, that didn't work, and now I've set it to the one withe AS and it work.

Thanks for your help !

broozar, as I already said, on my system export is successful only with Android Studio 2.3.3. I just updated AS to version 3.1.4 and got this message when compile AS project:

that's all, and no more details.
It's on Linux - Debian Jessie, Android Studio v.3.1.4

Debian Jessie? Looks like the Ubuntu theme to me. But I can test both later today, will let you know how it goes. My tests above were only under Windows.

Yes, theme from Ubuntu on Debian. I'm more interested in Debian 8.11, but I think the result should be the same on Ubuntu. Thank you

Confirmed. Have tried with both Debian 9.5 and Ubuntu 18.04, openJDK and Oracle Java. The STK gets generated, but APK/AS project creation fails. Will put this on the internal tracker and let you know as soon as there's any news.
